La Veta Storm Drain Installation Project
OE provided construction inspection services to the City of Orange for the construction of a new storm drain line on La Veta Avenue, near the Main place Mall. The scope of work included excavation, and a total of 62 ft. of trench was dug out and steel plated after shoring was placed in the trench. Furthermore, 20 ft. of 30” RCP’s were placed in the trench from the junction structure up-grade, and a concrete collar was placed aroung the tie-in of the 30" RCP to the junction structure. All work was completed at night to minimize the effect on commuters and shoppers, due to the high traffic volumes on the roadway during the day time.
