La Habra Blvd. Rehabilitation Project

OE provided design engineering services to the City of La Habra on the La Habra Boulevard Rehabilitation Project, which was partially funded by the Arterial Highway Rehabilitation Project (ARHP) Grant. The scope of work included the rehabilitation of La Habra Boulevard from the West City Limit to Beach Boulevard and from Fonda Street to the East City Limit. The project called for environmental and utility clearances, final design plans, project specifications, quantity and cost estimates and all compliance efforts needed to meet State and Federal requirements, including obtaining an E-76 (authorization to proceed to bid) from Caltrans. The scope of work included 233,657 SF of cold milling, installing over 12,000 tons of asphalt, 106,816 SF of cement treated soil, and 120 LF of 60" reinforced concrete pipe. Furthermore, the project also entailed adjusting 63 manhole covers and water valves, reconstructing 100 traffic loops, installing 3 bus pads, access ramps, traffic signing, and striping.
