Hacienda Park Multi-Use Trail

OE was responsible for the design, construction management, inspection and community relations for this project funded by Prop A, and dispersed by the Los Angeles County Regional Parks & Open Space District. The scope entailed installing a 1,000 LF multi-purpose trail for joint pedestrian and equestrian use, including wood rail fencing, decomposed granite pathway, a retaining wall, and a v-ditch and 24-inch storm drain tie-in for improved drainage. Heavy coordination with stakeholders was vital during the design and construction phases. OE conducted team building meetings, coordinated with city council, city staff and residents; our team also provided presentations and field visualizations during design and construction to ensure that all stakeholders were satisfied with the project design and construction. Additionally, OE provided presentations to the park planning committee to ensure that all approvals were obtained.
