Flora Vista Dog Park
OE provided inspection services on the Flora Vista Dog Park for the City of Bellflower. The park is located along the Bellflower bike trail and pedestrian path at the cul-de-sac on Flora Vista Street. The dog park offers an off-leash play area for large and small dogs, and both areas are stationed with dog waste dispenser receptacles. The roaming area is bedded with decomposed granite, which is a safe and sanitary option used commonly in community parks. The park's special features include a custom drinking fountain for owners and dogs, drought-tolerant landscaping and a bone-shaped planter that doubles as seating. The scope of work involved installing fencing excavation, removing and replacing PCC driveways, ramps, curb and gutter, constructing a DG footpath and a sidewalk with decorative paw prints, and landscaping.
