2014 Citywide Street Paving Project

OE provided inspection services to the City of Culver on its 2014 Citywide Street Paving project. The scope of work included removing the existing failed pavement and base/soil and constructing 8" asphalt concrete on compacted subgrade, grinding and removing approximately 220,000 SF of pavement, constructing 2” asphalt rubber hot mix (ARHM), installing 2 AC speed humps, adjusting 36 existing sewer and storm drain manholes, and installing 48 traffic loops. Furthermore, the project required removing and replacing 800 LF of existing PCC curb and gutter at various locations, 1,200 SF of existing PCC driveway approaches at various locations, installing traffic striping, and pavement markers.
